During one of our CAD/CAM SKE lessons we were all put into groups to research one particular aspect of the brief in order to create a starting point on which we could build our research. This quickly gave us a glimpse of all of the different projects, including different ideas of where the project could go. As part of our group we had to research High Speed rail, I liked the shape and form of the trains and thought they could easily be implemented into the design of a speaker.

As you can see you can easily develop a product just from the image, you just have to look at what you are designing for in a different way, or in the same way with a view to a different function.
How ever when watching a trailer from the movie Tron I felt more inspired to research that as part of my final project. So from there I waited for the film to come out at the cinema........................ and the rest is research and development.
